We are a privately owned (Natasha Creel & Emily Matthes) food truck that started up in 2015. The Southerner commutes around St. Louis County serving "Kick Ass BBQ and Southern Soul Food.” Our passion has always been this type of food so we decided to sell our restaurant Roxane's in Clayton and take our passion to the streets. We enjoyed the restaurants and the customers, but there was something about being on the road that intrigued us, being we are both big RV-ers. When you go to food truck events, everyone is in a good mood and having fun. So that’s when we set out to try out the whole “food on wheels.” “Cook it low and smoke it slow- the only way to do BBQ,” and that’s what we do. We are available and provide service for any and all events. From catering, to corporate lunches, to fairs, and even private parties. We strive to provide the best service and the best food for our customer's! Rain or shine, 20 degrees or 95 degrees, we will be there!
